Confined Space
ARE YOU CURRENT WITH THE CONSTRUCTION CHANGES ? The seminar will include a review of Cal-OSHA confined space regulations, classification of confined spaces, confined spaces in the construction industry, physical and atmospheric hazards, duties of entrant/attendant/entry supervisor, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, personal protective equipment and rescue. This course is designed for workers involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operation, emergency response operations, and storage disposal/treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include recognition of hazardous substances, protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment and OSHA regulations.
