Local Politics: Next week the ECA Board of Directors will be deciding on which Sonoma County Supervisors to Endorse for re election in November of 2020 and how much money to give towards their campaign. If you have any thoughts on this, please contact me and I will share your perspective at the Board Meeting on May 21, 2019. The current choices are: Lynda Hopkins (unopposed), Shirlee Zane (incumbent) vs Chris Coursey (ex-Mayor of Santa Rosa), and Susan Gorin (incumbent) vs David Cook (ex-Mayor of Sonoma).
State Politics: Governor Gavin Newsom wants to offer healthcare to undocumented (illegal) aliens aged 19-25 and is proposing to cut health care funding to Counties to fund his plan. To read about this, click on the link
National Politics: Trump and Dem Leaders agree on $2 Trillion Infrastructure package, but neglect to explain how to pay for it. Here is a well written opinion on how to pay for it. Link
