About Us

The ECA, and its Board of Directors, has been the voice of the engineering construction industry for over 50 years.

The foundation of the ECA has been to address local needs and issues. The ECA is different from most construction organizations in that it does not deal with union labor issues but welcomes both union and non-union contractors as members.

The purpose and goal of ECA and its staff are to provide services to the members that help them run their businesses safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the many rules and regulations and mandates of government.

The working committees are the heart and soul of the ECA. The committees are comprised of ECA members.

The committees promote events that enable the ECA to fund community projects that include:
The Installation Dinner and Awards Banquet, the Public Officials Night, the Fathers Day “Show & Shine” Car Show, the Golf Tournament, and, the “Days of Wine & Dozers” Auction Dinner.

Mission Statement:

The ECA is a member driven organization of contractor and affiliate companies working in the local general engineering contracting industry that provide and encourage training, fair business practices, in support of the community, innovation, and good stewardship of the environment.
