The ECA has, like all other “event dependent organizations”, been hit hard by the Pandemic. Nearly all of our events were either eliminated or postponed and it has caused its share of problems. We have, with the generous good grace of our loyal members, weathered the storm and events are now coming back.
- First up, we will have a Quarterly General Membership Meeting on June 29, 2021. This meeting will take the place of our monthly Board meetings usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Because of Senator McGuire’s schedule, we moved the GMM to the 4th Tuesday of June and we will not have a separate Board Meeting. This June 29 GMM is going to be packed with information on funding for infrastructure from the perspective of the State of California (Senator Mike McGuire), Regional funding from MTC SCTA and other sources (David Rabbitt and Suzanne Smith), funding in Sonoma County from both the Transportation and Public Works perspective (Johannes Hoervetz) and the County Supervisor perspective (James Gore).
The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom, and the cost to participate for ECA Members, NCBE Members, and Marin Builders Exchange Members, will only be $25.00. For non-members of the organizations, the cost will be $50.
To reserve your spot as the premiere sponsor for this event, please email Mary (mary@nceca.org) and sign up for that as flyers are being sent out to the other organizations and to the electeds. We want to get the premiere sponsor’s logo and name on the flyer!
Our Annual ECA Golf Tournament is back on! Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club from 11:30-6:30 or so. Flyer for sponsorships and signups will be going out next week. If you would like to reserve a 4-some or sponsor email mary@nceca.org to save your spot and to sponsor! Thank you to Northgate Ready Mix for being the Showcase Sponsor!!!
- Our Annual Father’s Day Show and Shine Car Show will be held at Julliard Park on Sunday September 5 in Santa Rosa. Flyer will be out shortly but please save the date!
After the last 14 months or so wearing a mask, working with special wash stations and distancing requirements and the uncertainty of health and income due to the pandemic, don’t you think it is time to get out and socialize a bit? Let’s reserve your spots for attendance and for sponsorships for these events and have some fun! Thanks for your patience in waiting out the COVID crisis.
That’s all folks!
John
